COVID-19 update

In line with the latest Victorian Government announcement, our programs and services will be cancelled from 11:59pm tonight (Thursday 15 July). Outdoor skate parks are open for public use within restrictions.

One alert active

The Skate Club program is run by YMCA Action Sports at skate parks across Australia.

Workshops are for schools or councils

If you're a school, local government or group, we can run a Roll All Day (R.A.D) workshop for you. If you're an individual, go to sessions.

The program

R.A.D workshops are part of a supervised skateboarding program tailored to schools or groups. Workshops can be run as a one-off, or we can run multiple workshops as part of a series. During a R.A.D workshop, children and young people build confidence by learning about skate skill development, injury prevention, skate park etiquette and equipment maintenance.

Each workshop generally runs for an hour and can accommodate up to 25 participants at a time, from beginners to intermediates.

Our friendly and professional staff are experienced instructors with a wealth of knowledge and experience. All instructors have working with children checks and are first aid certified.

When and where

With R.A.D workshops, we come to you. Workshops can be run at your school or site (for example by using a basketball court or playground), or we can even offer R.A.D workshops at any local skate park facility near you.

Workshops times can be arranged to suit your school or group - simply include your requirements in your booking enquiry and we'll get back to you.

We provide all skateboards and safety gear.

Costs and availability of workshops vary, simply include your requirements in your booking enquiry and we'll get back to you with a quote.
