COVID Safe Skate Events
The YMCA Action Sports team run events and programs that follow all Federal and relevant State Government requirements and are committed to doing everything we can to keep our athletes and staff safe.
We run programs and events in various community spaces across Victoria, NSW, Tasmania and South Australia. Please read below for State specific updates.
Victoria
Following the Victorian Government’s health advice and the Victorian Roadmap, our Victorian programs and events are recommencing in person from the start of November 2021.
All of our staff and coaches working in Victoria are fully vaccinated and we are committed to doing everything we can to keep our participants and staff safe.
Face masks are no longer required outdoors, but are recommended when physical distancing of 1.5 metres cannot be maintained.
Upon arrival at the location of a program or event, sign in using the QR code provided. There will be a hand sanitising station available for use.
In line with the Victorian Government mandates, guardians accompanying children to our program/event must be fully vaccinated, as well as any participants over the age of 16. We will need to sight a confirmation of vaccination status by:
- Digital or printed COVID digital certificate
- Immunisation history statement
- If you have a medical exemption, we will need to sight this in lieu of a vaccination confirmation
- How to get your COVID-19 vaccination digital certificate
NSW
We are following the State Government Roadmap and mandates for all programs and events run by our team in NSW.
